York Gala Night - The Day that changes the Brass World
On January 14 the German musical instrument manufacturer Schreiber & Keilwerth invited selected retailers of the most important European markets for brass instrument to Frankfurt in order to attend the York Gala Night. The guests came from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Benelux countries and Scandinavia.
The curious public was entertained with a varied programme, garnished by a 4 course menue. The musicians David Childs (UK), Roland Fröscher ( Switzerland) and Angelo Bearpark ( Switzerland) presented the sound of York cornets and euphoniums in a very impressive way.
The management of Schreiber & Keilwerth, the international York Sales Team and several employees from the factory in Markneukirchen attended the Reception. The highlight was the presentation of the York instruments that were shown to the public for the first time.
York brass instruments have the real British brass sound. The product range consists of cornet, fluegel horn, tenor horn, euphonium and tuba. York baritones, euphoniums and basses feature the 4 valve compensating system.
The feedback of the attending dealers was unanimously positive: a very well organised event, competent and friendly staff, nice atmosphere, excellent musicians and most of all high quality instruments. The promise of the York team was kept: the introduction of a new, excellent brand for brass instruments that will change the brass world.
